Amstrad CPC - The People's Computer

Image
The Amstrad CPC had a cult following, and people would spend hours typing in lines of code just to make it do cool things. I mean, that's dedication right there. And don't even get me started on the games.  The Amstrad CPC had some of the best games of the era, from classics like "Chuckie Egg" to more obscure titles like "Gryzor." But of course, like all things, the Amstrad CPC eventually fell out of favor. It was replaced by newer, more powerful computers, and people moved on. But for those of us who remember it, the Amstrad CPC will always hold a special place in our hearts.  #amstrad #amstradcpc #amstradcpc464

N64 - 20 Most Addictive Games Today

Image
Well, let me tell you something, my friend. The Nintendo 64, or N64 for short, is a true gem of a console that has stood the test of time.  First of all, let's talk about the controller. Sure, it might look a bit odd with its three-pronged design, but let me tell you, it's a thing of ergonomic beauty. The joystick is perfectly placed for maximum precision, and the buttons are all easily accessible. Plus, the rumble pack was a stroke of genius, adding a whole new level of immersion to games.  But it's not just the controller that makes the N64 great. Oh no. The games themselves are truly fantastic. Take Super Mario 64, for example. This was the first 3D Mario game, and it completely revolutionised the platformer genre. The game's open-world design allowed for a level of exploration and discovery that was unheard of at the time.  Then there's The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which is widely considered to be one of the greatest video games of all time. The game

10 Weirdest Games Ever - ZX Spectrum

Image
The ZX Spectrum had a lot of weird 8-bit games. While I cannot confirm or deny whether or not the programmers of the old ZX Spectrum were on drugs, I can say that some of the games that were created for the the 8bit were certainly quite strange at times.  One example is "Jet Set Willy" by Matthew Smith, which featured 'Willy' our protagonist who had to clean up a mansion after a wild party. The game was known for its bizarre visuals and challenging gameplay.  While the reasons behind the oddness of these games may be up for debate, it's clear that they left a lasting impression on many gamers who played them.  #zxspectrum #48k #sinclair #retrogaming
